How much does Solar Electric cost?
It all depends on how much of your consumption you are trying to offset. If you are a residential client, you can expect to pay anywhere from $7.50 to $10 per watt installed. Don't expect to be getting a check from the power company either. Even with all the existing rebates, PV is more of a "green bling" when it comes to payback, i.e. 6 to 8 years.

Is Solar Hot Water cost effective?
Definitely much more so then PV, although we do like to install both. You can expect a payback of 4 to 6 years, but as with PV expect to spend at least $8,000 to $10,000 up front before you get any rebates.

How does Radiant Space Heating work?
Just like most great things, hydronic radiant heating has been around for a long time. Hot water is pumped through coils of flex tubing installed inside or underneaththe floor, which provides for even and efficient heat distribution since heat naturally rises. This is a perfect retrofit for all existing hot water heating systems with a boiler and radiators.

When can I get my solar pool heating installed?
If you went straight for the important question, you must already know that most solar pool heating systems can use the same circulation pump and controls you already have for the pool. Therefore these systems are relatively inexpensive inspite of not being eligible for solar rebates. Just give us a call to learn more.
